I moved into a brand new home in January 2025 and quickly realized that “upgraded” didn’t mean what I thought it did.
Shallow drawers. Warping cabinet fronts. A builder who wouldn’t share the paint formula for the kitchen I paid for. A contractor who told me a fix was impossible.
Spoiler: it wasn’t.
I’m not a contractor — I just refuse to accept that this is as good as it gets.
So I figure it out, creating practical designs and share my progress so you can make smarter decisions in your own home too.
